- Hana – Yes, I imagine Cendrillon must have baked this cake before meeting her fairy godmother…and after!
- Riley – I immediately ripped the page out of my BA when I saw it and made it a few days later…I agree – it is irresistable,
- Linda – Oh yeah…so simple I’ve since made it a half dozen time with minimal clean up.
- Amy – I had never made Ina Garten’s beause it contains so much beutter. A glaze would be great — thanks for the idea.

a friend just gave me a recipe for a ‘french yogurt cake’ also. it sounds so good. I’ve made Ina Garten’s recipe for a lemon yogurt cake in the past, which is delicious, though certainly not lower fat than a pound cake. yours looks to be ‘lighter’
regardless of if the french make it, I’m sure its good. dress it up with some berries and a glaze and its fancy, too!

Cinderella probably baked this cake (she was French), fed it to her evil step sisters and mother, and then gave the crumbs to the mice. I’m looking forward to making this fable a reality. Thanks for sharing.
