The soup turned out great. One person said it was the best soup they ever had.
Just one warning… it makes alot of soup. Depending on the number of people, you may want to half the recipe. I froze the extra and am having it this week for lunch.

Do you have a crockpot version of this? Or have you only cooked it over the stove? I’m thinking this would work nicely with a protein, maybe a duck?

Very yummy! I reseved a cup of the solids in the soup before blending (I like a more chunky texture). Thanks for adding this post.

Thanks for turning it into a “real” recipe! I happen to have a potful in my frigde…..it’s my 3rd batch since Thanksgiving! The inspiration for making my own wild mushroom soup came from years and years of visiting Longwood Gardens. For those of you not familiar with the area, Longwood is right near Kennett Square, PA, the self-proclaimed mushroom capital of the world!
