Gayle – great recap and thanks for the plug for my organization Yad Eliezer [which has a four star Charity Navigator rating] and my baking business – even though no one can really afford my cakes [starting $100]! It was great having you there to organize me [the artsy one who can't do the math] on the auction ticket pricing – next time the B-school babes will do everything related to the financial aspect of my event. Meira – I took your advice and am putting you and Gayle in charge. But all in all we raised many thousands of dollars for a good cause – thanks for your help, your sweet post and your enthusiasm.
PS – alwayswinner and meatlessmamma – thanks for your compliments on the cakes. The auction winner of the cheesecake with lemon curd decided she didn’t want the cake [claiming her kids wouldn't touch it] so I exchanged it for a cheesecake covered with chocolate ganache and purple fondant flowers instead and my family got to eat the lemon curd one! Sweet!
