I've found that RJs is a texturally a bit reminiscent of cardboard. Really hard to chew. And also there wasn't much of a punch in terms of flavor.

Holy Cow, on the other hand, lives up to its name. The flavor is outstanding and complex in nature. A lot going on there on my taste buds. And the texture is amazing. So easy to chew. Yet, if you happen to be one of those old school people who like your jerky "tough", their Hickory flavor has that going on. But I much prefer their Teriyaki and Sweet and Spicy. Yum!

Also, it's worth noting that Holy Cow's ingredients are natural. No preservatives. Plus, they are Union Orthodox certified and Bishul Yishroel for Sephardim. I read about it on their website's About Us page: http://www.holycowkosher.com/about/index.html.

I agree. Listen, i tried Holy Cow, and did not care for it so much. I did some research as i am a huge Jerky fan, and found out this is like MASS FACTORY ..... it kinda kills the taste. I tried RJ's Kosher Beef Jerky and it tasted much better.... i called them up and found out that they actually make it just like HOME style.... they dont do MASSIVE production, hence it tasted better..... I looked them up on google and found them the site is KosherBeefJerky.net or KosherBeefJerky.com

Anyhow, take the taste test yourself, and let me hear your thoughts.

All the best, and I love your blog, great stuff, thanks for taking the time!!!!!
